Our client a leading power organisation is looking to recruit a site
operator to join it&#**Apply on the website**;s team working in the
datacentre market in Dublin. This role controls, operates, maintains
and services electrical plant and equipment to generate electric power
(includes gas generators, diesel generators, transformers and
auxiliary equipment). Maintains accurate and detailed records relating
to the running of the plant and equipment.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor and inspect power plant equipment and indicators/alarms to
detect evidence of operating problems.
* Start or stop generators, auxiliary equipment, and other power plant
equipment, as required.
* Take readings from charts, meters and gauges at established
intervals, and take corrective steps as necessary.
* React to outages and call in necessary personnel during power
outages and emergencies.
* Keep site clean and tidy and support with basic housekeeping and
site maintenance duties.
Equipment
* Clean, top up coolant/oil levels on generators, and maintain
equipment, in order to prevent equipment failure or deterioration.
* Collect oil, water, and electrolyte samples for laboratory analysis.
* Regulate equipment operations and conditions such as water/oil
levels, based on data from recording and indicating instruments or
from computers SCADA systems.
* Assist as and when required in the faultfinding, service,
maintenance and repair of the generators, transformers and associated
auxiliary equipment under the supervision of qualified technicians.

* Record and compile operational data, completing and maintaining
